Jaguar, the focus point at Goodwoord 2011

A memorable Goodwood weekend has drawn to a close with Jaguar remaining the focus of the Festival as 50 years of the E-type are celebrated.
Familiar faces from the world of athletics, motorsport and television joined Jaguar in its celebrations. Friday saw former F1 driver and current BBC commentator Martin Brundle take to the Goodwood Hill in the XJR-9.  On Saturday, American talk show host, avid car enthusiast and collector, Jay Leno, drove the new, 550PS XKR-S as well as the thundering Group 44 E-type race car while on Sunday, British Olympic hopeful and Jaguar Academy of Sport Ambassador Jessica Ennis took on the Hill as she rode in the XKR-S.
The 28-metre E-type sculpture continued to wow the crowds at the Festival along with the spectacular range of vehicles both in action and on static display.
The event allows spectators incredible access to vehicles and exhibits on display, with enthusiasts of all ages being able to get up close to priceless cars from the past including the beautiful XJ13 as well as from the future, in the form of the C-X75.
